Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara

• Meet your professional tour guide/driver in Arusha town for a brief safari info briefing before departing for Lake Manyara National Park.
• Enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 2 ½ hours (covering 130 km) to reach the park.
• Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch.
• After lunch, venture into Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its stunning setting along the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.
• Explore the park’s diverse habitat, home to a wide array of wildlife, including elephants, tree-climbing lions, and flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

• After breakfast, descend 600m into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a morning half-day game drive.
• The crater hosts an incredible concentration of wildlife, including Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos, along with wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, elephants, and a variety of predators.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater.
• Afterward, ascend from the crater and begin the journey back to Arusha, approximately a 4-hour drive covering 190 km.
• Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to your hotel, marking the end of your safari adventure.
